Get CEUs
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS
To maintain the degree a QRP must complete 50 (fifty) hours of CEUs within 5 (five) years of satisfactorily completing the PRQT test. CEUs are awarded on a 1 CEU per 1 contact-hour ratio for CRA events and a 1 CEU per 2 contact-hour ratio for pre-approved non-CRA events.
Individuals that attend the annual conference are eligible to receive a maximum of 10 (ten) CEUs that are applied to the continuing education requirements. They can also be obtained and held for recognition upon completion of the PRQT if the PRQT is completed within one year. All CEUs require the signature of at least 6 (six) speakers, hosts, tour leaders, or workshop instructors. A copy of your signed CEU form must be returned to the registration desk on the final day of conference or faxed to CRA’s staff within ten days of conference.
EARNING CEUS
To earn CEUS through CRA’s Carolina Recycling University, simply print out the CEU form, have it signed by a session or workshop organizer, and fax it back to CRA at 336-464-2281. Please keep in mind we track CEUs for those who are intending to complete their Qualified Recycling Professional certification.
